Dadi Perlmutter, Rami Hadar & Tamir-Fishman Form a Partnership
and Plan to Raise a New Late Stage Investment Firm Named Eucalyptus

MAY 12, 2015, Tel Aviv, Israel – The three founding partners in Eucalyptus Growth Capital will be Dadi Perlmutter, Rami Hadar and Eldad Tamir (through Tamir Fishman & Co.). Eucalyptus will focus on investing and helping late stage Israeli companies grow their business, penetrate international markets and achieve successful IPO's as part of their growth while creating revenues in the $100Ms.

Dadi Perlmutter served as an executive vice president and general manager of the Intel Architecture Group (IAG), and Chief Product Officer of Intel Corporation. During this period (2009-2013), he was responsible for the business and development of Intel's platform solutions for all computing and communication segments covering data centers, desktops, laptops, handhelds, embedded devices and wireless communication that generated sales growth from $34B to $52B and made acquisitions that totaled $2.4B. Prior to this role for 29 years, Dadi held various management and technology positions at Intel and was directly responsible for developing several of Intel's major products, businesses and technologies that impacted its business and transformed industries.

Rami Hadar is the former CEO of Allot [NASDAQ:ALLT]. During his 8 years in Allot, Rami grew the company's sales to over $100M, made three acquisitions and led its public offering in NASDAQ. In 2012 the company reached over $900M valuation. Before Allot, Rami was the CEO of two other Israeli companies with successful exits; CTP which was acquired by DSPC [NASDAQ:DSPC] and Native Networks acquired by Alcatel [NASDAQ:ALU]. Rami was also a cofounder and board member at Combox acquired by Terayon [NASDAQ:TERN].

Eldad Tamir is the Founder & CEO of the Tamir Fishman Group, which today manages over 16 Bill NIS in different asset classes, and one of Israel's leading economic public figures . Eldad has over 25 years of experience in investments, investment banking and venture capital. Eldad was the sole founder and partner at all TF VC funds that have created some of Israel's greatest companies and exits, including companies such as Chromatis, Allot, Modem Art, Copergate, Radware and many others. Prior to that, Eldad was the EVP of the Evergreen Group & Venture Funds, executive in Clal Holdings and as an analyst at one of Israel's first ever venture funds.

Rami Hadar

Rami Hadar has served as a board director and Allot's President and CEO from 2006 to 2014. Hadar joined Allot in order to drive the company's transformation into a service provider-focused global business. Under his leadership Allot's sales more than quadrupled and became profitable. Allot transitioned from a private company into a public company [ALLT] with over $100M of sales and highly profitable. Rami took the company public in 2006 and then led a secondary offering in 2011. During these 8 years Allot made three successful acquisitions in the Security and Video space that contributed to Allot's accelerated growth. In 2011 Hadar was recognized as one of the top five CEOs in Israel by Calcalist magazine.

Since his departure from the IDF as Captain in an elite technology unit in the Intelligence force, he has established and lead telecommunications companies and developed global businesses for more than 24 years. Early in his career Hadar co-founded and served as CEO of CTP Systems (micro cellular networks) until its acquisition by DSP Communications (NASDAQ: DSPC). Hadar continued with DSPC's executive management team for two years, and subsequently the company was acquired by Intel. Hadar went on to co-found Ensemble Communications, a pioneer in the broadband wireless space and the WiMax standard, where he served as executive vice president, sales and marketing. Following that, Hadar served as CEO of Native Networks where he was instrumental in successfully reshaping the company into a market-driven provider of MPLS based solutions to tier-1 telecoms and in orchestrating the company's ultimate acquisition by Alcatel. He spent one year as a venture partner in JVP before joining Allot. Hadar holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel's Institute of Technology.

Dadi Perlmutter

David (Dadi) Perlmutter served till early 2014 as an executive vice president, general manager of the Intel Architecture Group (IAG) and chief product officer of Intel Corporation. He was responsible for the business and development of Intel's platform solutions for all computing and communication segments including datacenters, desktops, laptops, handhelds, embedded devices, and computer electronics and was responsible for many of Intel product innovations as the i387, Pentium, Pentium Pro, Centrino and Core product lines and created new businesses for Intel mainly in the Server and Mobile computing market segments

Perlmutter now chairs couple of none profit organizations (The Israel Innovation Institute, and Mishelanu), is a member of the Board of Governors of the Technion, and serves as a director of Mellanox Technologies and few other start ups

Perlmutter joined Intel in 1980 after graduating from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. He holds patents on branch target buffers and multiprocessing cache coherency protocols. Perlmutter received an award for innovation in industrial development from the Israeli president in 1987 for the development of the i387 math coprocessor. Perlmutter was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Electronics and Electronics Engineers for his contributions to the mobile computer industry.

Eldad Tamir

Eldad is local public figure and is considered one of the pillars of the Israeli investing community, with over 25 years of experience in investment management, banking, investment banking and venture capital. he is the founder and CEO of the Tamir Fishman Group that manages over 5 B$ in different asset classes (Mutual Funds, Portfolio Management, Hedge Funds, Stock Option management, Venture funds and a top banking practice for Israeli tech companies. Eldad was the sole founder and a managing partner at three successful TF Venture Capital funds; Eucalyptus, Tamir Fishman funds II & III. The above funds have created some of Israel's greatest companies and exits, including companies such as Chromatis, Modem Art, Coppergate, Radware, Allot Communications, Native Networks, Voltaire and many others. Prior to that, Eldad was the EVP of the Evergreen Group, CEO of Evergreen Capital Markets (publically traded) & Co-Founder of the Evergreen Venture funds.

Before evergreen, Eldad served as VP of finance and investments at the financial arm of the Clal ltd., one of the leading companies in the Israeli economy, and as a strategic planning consultant at sbd, where he led strategic consulting for companies at the forefront of the economy. His first job was as an analyst on one of the first ever Israeli VC funds that breaded great local tech companies. Eldad has taught investment banking and investment management in the MBA program at Tel Aviv University. He is a leading commentator on the daily TV, most popular economic show. His other activities include volunteer service as a member of the advisory committee of Tmura, a non-profit venture capital fund, and as a member of the investment committee for Tel Aviv university funds. Eldad holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. He served as a tank battalion commander in the IDF.
